Dear respected members of the congregation,
We hope this message finds you in good health and spirits. As you all know, our Gurdwara has been a central place of worship and community gathering for many years. We have been fortunate to have a beautiful and functional space to come together and practice our faith.
However, Gurdwara Sahib Yishun is the only Gurdwara in Singapore that stands on land leased from the government. This lease renews every 30 years (1992, 2022). While we have recently renewed the lease for another 30 years, we must not let up any effort to replenish the building fund so that those managing the Gurdwara 30 years from now will be able to meet the obligations.
Additionally, the building fund also supports ongoing maintenance so that the Gurdwara can continue to serve the needs of our community.
We would like to appeal to each and every one of you to consider contributing to this important cause. Every donation, no matter how big or small, will make a significant difference and help us reach our goal. Your contribution will also serve as a symbol of our commitment to our faith and our dedication to building a stronger and more vibrant community.
